Transfer to Tono beach from where, after some steep steps, the Manica path starts. It will lead us, immersed in the colors and scents of Mediterranean flora, towards Mt. Trino and then to Cape Milazzo. From here we'll continue towards S. Antonio Bay, where there was once an ancient 'tonnara' (for tuna fishing and above which is a rock sanctuary dedicated to S. Antonio of Padova.
Transfer to Piano Provenzana (1800 m. above sea level) where the trail starts. It will take us through the lava from the 2003 eruption to Mt. Nero (2049m.). From there we'll walk on the spectacular 'lava cordato' of Dammusi Pass and after we'll go down to the cave dei lamponi.
Transfer to the ancient medieval town of Novara di Sicilia and after we'll head towards Portella Mandrazzi. From here we'll continue through the paths that climb to Rocca Leone (1207 m. above sea level). The trail to the famous Rocca di Novara (1340 m.) starts here. This is one of the most suggestive peaks on the island of Sicily. In fact it's called the Matterhorn of Sicily for its dolomite-like views.
